Essential phone 2 may come with in display fingure print scanner
Almost two years after the launch of the original Essential Phone, a number of leaked design sketches seem to suggest that Andy Rubin's company is working on its successor.
According to a report from SlashGear, the Essential PH-2 will come with an under-display selfie-camera, enabling the device to have an fully notch-less display.
The camera will apparently be accompanied by a light sensor, but it isn't immediately clear whether the display panel will be of the LCD or OLED variety.
As can be seen from the images, the sketches also suggest that the device will have an in-display fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone socket.
