How to handle realme buds air a quick detail about all troubleshoot with realme buds air

Hey, realme Fans.
How are you doing? I hope your realme smartphone is treating you well and you are having a nice time with your realme Buds Air (in case you've a pair). As the title suggests, this thread is intended to serve as a troubleshoot guide for users of realme Buds Air. I'm sharing a quick step-by-step guide below for some of the common issues that you might face while using them.

#1: No audio output in either side of realme Buds Air
Step 01: Check whether there is any dirt or foreign matter in the charging base of each of the bud and in the charging column in the charging box. If yes, gently clean it.
Step 02: In the charging box, repeatedly insert and remove the headset 2 times.
Step 03: Confirm whether battery level of charging box is sufficient (a green light indicates sufficient battery level). Keep the buds in charging box for at least 10 minutes.
Step 04: Press the key for more than 10s to reset the buds
Step 05: Close the cover when the LED light goes off.
Step 06: Open the over and press 3s to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Reconnect it to your smartphone to confirm whether the issue is resolved.

#2: realme Buds Air aren't detected by the device
Step 01: Clean the surface of realme Buds Air where the sensor is located.
Step 02: Check whether there is any dirt or foreign matter in the charging base of the buds and the charging column in the charging box, and keep it clean.
Step 03: Confirm whether battery level of charging box is sufficient (green light indicates sufficient battery level). Keep the buds in charging box for at least 10 minutes.
Step 04: Press the key for more than 10 s to reset the buds
Step 05: Close the cover when the LED light goes off.
Step 06: Open the over and press 3 s to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Reconnect to phone to confirm whether the issue is resolved.

#3: The touch sensor doesn't respond as expected to control operations
Step 01The touch function will not take work until it is detected that realme Buds Air are worn. Please confirm whether the light sensing function is normal. (For a normal scenario, when you take the realme Buds Air off ear, the media-content should automatically pause itself. It resumes when the realme Buds Air are put back on)
Step 02: If the sensor works normally, make sure that you are tapping at the correct area. Refer to the below image:
Step 03: Do a simple touch test. Two taps in the sensor-area should play/pause the music.
Step 04: If they still don't respond as expected, confirm whether battery level of charging box is sufficient (green light indicates sufficient battery level). Keep the buds in charging box for at least 10 minutes.

#4: Poor noise cancellation and issues with microphone while on-call
Step 01: Check if the microphone is blocked. Also see what the usage scenario is like e.g. cycling, fast moving, etc.. How far is the headset from the phone? (useful range 10m)? Is there any other object between the earphone and the mobile phone (such as the mobile phone in the backpack and trouser pocket)?
Step 02: Clean the mic 1 and 2 aperture and make sure there is no foreign body or dirt blocking it.
Step 03: Shorten the distance between the headset and the phone, change the environment and try again.

#5: An abnormal connection
Step 01: Make sure the realme Buds Air are in close proximity of the smartphone (less than 10m~)
Step 02: If they are in close proximity and still don't respond, press the key for more than 10s to reset the buds
Step 03: Close the cover when the LED light goes off.
Step 04: Open the over and press 3 s to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Reconnect to phone to confirm whether the issue is resolved.

5.1: If they have been paired and still cause trouble while connecting, follow the below steps
Check if the Dirac is one of audio decoders. The product only support 2 decoders: AAC & SBC.

5.2: If there's a audio delay while playing video, i.e. a synchronization issue between audio and video
Check if media file is stored locally. If not, check if the issue is caused by network.
Get it back for FA, if playing from local resources and the behavior isn't normal.

5.3 If the volume increases or decreases automatically and there's disturbance and frequent connection/ disconnection after strange sounds.
Please check if you're in a zone with too many WiFi networks or other strong signal disturbance. Re-test it in a clear area and send it back for FA if the problem persists

#6: Slow charging
Step 01: Confirm whether the headset is charging slowly or the charging box is charging slowly (charging time more than 3 hour is considered slow)
Step 02: Check if the earphone's charging area seem depressed or contaminated
Step 03: Check whether there is any dirt or foreign particle in the charging column of the charging box. If yes, gently clean it.

#7: Viewing battery stats of realme Buds Air and issues with battery life
Step 01: To know the battery level, check the color of the indicator light that's there in the charging box.
A red light flashing indicated that the battery level is less than 30%. A yellow light flashing indicates the charge levels to be somewhere 30%~60%. A green light flashing means the charge is more than 60%.
A green light that's always on indicates that the case has been fully charge (the headphone case indicator only indicates the headphone case battery).
Step 02: After keeping the buds inside charging case for a long duration, re-connect it back to your phone and see if the battery level shows full.
Step 03: Check their battery backup by using them various scenarios: for e.g., at varied volume levels at scenarios like listening music, watching a video, on call, or playing games.
Step 04: Check their charging frequency and actual use time of the headset after charging. A difference of 15~ minutes between the two earphones is considered normal.

I hope this thread would serve its purpose and help resolve some of the probable issues with realme Buds Air.
