Convert your new smartwatch with Sony wena wrist pro
Now you can make a new smartwatch with sonys wena wrist pro
Sony may have stopped launching Android smartwatches a while ago, but the company still harbors ambitions of being a serious player in the smart wearables sector. As part of those plans, the company has now introduced a pair of smart straps that are meant to be worn with traditional watches.
Named the 'Wena Wrist Pro' and the 'Wena Wrist Active', the straps are the latest additions to the company's Wena line of smart devices sold in Japan since 2015. While the former is a slim, 20mm steel device that's water-resistant up to 50m, the latter is built out of silicone and is designed for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
Both straps support contactless payments and come with a display that can show notifications from the user's phone. UK pricing starts at £349 (around Rs. 31,000) for the Wrist Active, while the Wrist Pro comes with a £399 (around Rs. 36,000) price-tag.
