Huawei's new foldable phone launched for €2300
Taking on Samsung's first foldable smartphone, Huawei has today unveiled its foldable phone at MWC 2019 in Barcelona. It's called the Huawei Mate X and has been priced at 2,299 euros (around 1.85 lakhs). It'll go on sale sometime in mid-2019.
The Huawei Mate X packs a single 8-inch flexible display, which when folded, gives you a 6.6-inch front display and 6.38-inch rear panel. It shouldn't come as a surprise, but there's no notch here and the display is almost bezel-less.
All of the major components that make this foldable phone tick sit in the chunky sidebar, including the camera, 5G antenna, and more. There's a 4,500mAh dual-battery and 55W SuperCharge adapter coupled with the device. When opened up the side bar moves to the back giving you a edge to hold on to.
