Jio phone 3 is rumered to be launched at 4500 and with a 5 inch display
Reliance Jio is said to be planning to ditch KaiOS in favor of Android for its next-gen JioPhone. According to eStufs, the company's head sales, Sunil Dutt, recently said that the JioPhone 3 will be a full-fledged smartphone with a slightly higher price-tag than its predecessor.
Meanwhile, another report from BeetelBiteadds that the device will be priced at Rs. 4,500, and ship with a 5-inch touchscreen panel, 2GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage. It will reportedly ship with a 5MP rear-camera and a 2MP front cam.
The second blog further says that buyers will be able to pre-order the phone in July, with shipping expected to start the following month.
