Redmi new smartphone series note 7s with 48 mp camera

Even as fans continue to wait for the Mi A3 and the Redmi K20, Xiaomi is planning to announce a third device as part of its Redmi Note 7 lineup in India, having already released the Redmi Note 7 and Note 7 Pro earlier this year.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Xiaomi India MD, Manu Kumar Jain said: "#RedmiNote7S - An all-new SUPER Redmi Note for all our India Mi fans is coming! #48MPForEveryone unveils on 20th May. Mark your calendars!".

The tech specs of the upcoming device are yet to be announced, but given the '48 MP for Everyone' hashtag and the lack of any info about new devices that may fit the description, it won't be a surprise if the 7S turns out to be the Chinese Redmi Note 7 model with the Samsung GM1 48MP sensor with a different processor to make its low.
