Our technology is growing faster day-by-day and we can see many different types of things being launched and some are still in progress and some are in testing phase out of which one of the technology that we really want is Self Driving cars.These cars will be playing an important role in future.So,lets get started and know more about Self Driving Cars.

A Self Driving Cars ,sometimes also known as driverless car or a robot car which is a type of vehicle that can sense its environment and moves according to it with little or sometimes even no human input.

How does this car work ?

A Self Driving Cars consist of various types of sensors to recognize their sorroundings to move safely.These sensors includes Radar,Sonar,Global Postioning System(GPS),inertial measurement units and odometry.To make this Autonomous cars work,an advanced control system control system are added that provides sensory information to provide the proper navigation paths and also to identify obstacles and relevant signage.

Advantages of Self Driving Cars:

-Safety:

Safety Experts predicts that as soon as this technology has been developed fully,it can help in reducing the number of accidents or traffic collisons that is caused by human errors.

-Traffic:

Since this car works automatically,the rides becomes smoother and works according to speed limits which helps in minimizing the traffic problem and save our time.

-Energy and Environmental Impacts:

Automation in the vehicle makes it more optimized which helps in improving the fuel economy.As it reduces the traffic congestion,if these cars used in large numbers then it can create higher fuel efficiency.

Disadvantages of Self Driving Cars:

-Widespread use of these cars can lead to loss of driving related jobs

-Privacy can be a issue sometimes.

-Risk of automative hacking through V2V(Vehicle-to-Vehicle) protocol.
